Warm-rubidium-ensemble DLCZ quantum memory
I am currently studying the theory and experimental methods of DLCZ quantum memories in warm rubidium ensembles. The work is centered on write–read correlations, spin-wave storage, and the role of four-wave-mixing noise. Experimental parameter optimization and entanglement generation are possible later directions; they are not yet presented here as completed work.
Research experience

Entangled-photon experiments and laboratory automation
UESTC
Built and aligned polarization–path and two-dimensional polarization-entanglement optical setups; balanced single-photon detection channels and performed coincidence measurements. Calibrated liquid-crystal phase retarders and half-wave plates, processed calibration data in MATLAB, and generated phase lookup curves using robust local regression.
Adapted AI-assisted Python wrappers for a Thorlabs KLC controller and validated the modified code on hardware. Also participated in assembly and on-site validation of an EtherCAT/PLC-based dual-axis motion-control platform.

High-speed-rail defect imaging
Beijing Jiaotong University
Led a National Undergraduate Innovation Training project on ultrasonic phased-array and guided-wave methods for locating and quantifying internal rail defects. The project supported a peer-reviewed article in IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, for which I was the only student co-author.
